Kylie Jenner Lip Tutorial/ Kylie Jenner Lip Colour

Hey everyone!

Today I thought I would share two products which I bought last year when everyone first started going mad for Kylie Jenner's lip colour... and this is when everyone began to notice her lips were looking a little more plump. I personally think she looks great and if you have the money to fix something about yourself that you may be very self conscious about then I feel there's no problem, but everyone has their own opinion and that's perfectly fine! Anyway this is about that gorgeous browny nude colour she was sporting in these pictures, she even seems to be resorting back to the same sort of colour even recently, it suits her so well.

I saw these selfies on her Instagram and I wanted to get a colour like this for so long. She uploaded a few more selfies before this but the colour is more noticeable in these pictures, which is why I thought it would be best if I used them. I went to MAC because I heard she was using a lipliner by them, and I showed them a picture, and they helped me find a lip combination which would help me achieve this colour. The products I purchased were MAC's lipliner in 'Whirl' and their lipstick in 'Viva Glam II'. The lipliner is quite drying on the lips, but with the lipstick being a satin finish, it keeps the lips quite moisturised without giving off a glossy look, which is perfect as Kylie doesn't wear this lip glossy. The lipstick is a lighter shade than the lipliner, but by putting the lipliner all over the lip and then putting the lipstick on top, it creates a nearly perfect match to Kylie's colour.

I inserted a picture where I swatched the products. The top swatch is the 'Viva Glam II' lipstick, and the bottom swatch is the lipliner in 'Whirl'. This is the closest match I have seen to her lip colour, and I just want to thank the lovely girls at MAC in BT2 Dundrum for taking so much time to sit with me and help me find the perfect match!

Penneys/Primark PS Love Foundation Stick Review and Cream Contour

Penneys here in Ireland, or Primark for those in the UK, have recently come out with a makeup line called PS Love. I have tried 3 products from the line, their felt tip eyeliner, their individual lashes and their foundation stick. Today I'll be speaking about the foundation stick. This product costs €2.50/ £2!! It contains 11g of product. The shade I picked up was Tan, and I wanted to try this for cream contouring, I thought I'd pick it up to practice with until I wanted to invest in a more expensive one... I think I'll stick with the Penneys one for now! The quality is amazing and you're only paying €2.50! I saw Matte To Metallic post about this product on their Facebook page and I had to get it! When I tell you I searched high and low for this foundation stick I seriously mean it! I was searching Town, Dundrum, Nutgrove and I even had my mams friends looking for it where they lived. Everyone was going mad for this foundation stick and rightly so! This product is very creamy and it glides right onto the skin, when using it be sure to set it with a powder, as you would with all cream contours. I think that this is the perfect cream contour for your makeup kit especially if you're only starting because its cheap, great quality and easily replaceable! I hope this helped someone out there who is into cream contouring but can't justify paying the crazy prizes of the higher end products!

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation Review

I got this foundation for Christmas and it was always a slight bit too dark for me, but now that we're in summer it matches me perfectly! I think that this foundation is perfect for summer, because it's dewy and really lightweight on the skin! It's light to medium coverage. It's perfect for people who have dry skin, those of us with oily skin, it's not so great in the summer if you get really oily in the T-zone. I love this foundation so much that even with my oily skin, I make it work! I carry powder everywhere with me. I'm in the colour B40 at the moment. The packaging of this product is very luxurious! The bottle is glass with gold lettering. The cap is gold with the YSL logo on top. I think that gold packaging on a makeup product just adds an expensive look to the product which I really like. This foundation has a pump which is really handy and makes the application so easy. This foundation retails for €40 in Debenhams. It is a tad pricey for foundation but you get what you pay for and I could not recommend this product enough!

Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 Palette Review and Mini Step by Step Tutorial

I was recently away in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and I came across a sleek stand in a department store called 'Allkauf' in the Phase III shopping centre. I originally wanted the contour kit in 'medium' but it was sold out so I opted for a really bright eyeshadow palette called the 'Ultra Mattes V1 Palette'. I never wear bright shadow but it's something different for summer and for €10 you can't go wrong! The colour names starting from the top row, left to right are; Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragonfly, Pucker and Bamm!. The colours on the bottom row, left to right are; Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss, Crete and Pow!.

I created two looks already with this palette, I feel like it's so versatile and even if you don't want to go with full colour on the eyes, these shades are perfect for a pop of colour on your inner corner or even on the lower lash line! Some of the shades aren't as pigmented as others, but with the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' as a base, every shade pops! I found the orange shade 'Strike' to be a bit chalky as I was using it and I found that shade, for me, to be the only one with a very poor colour payoff without the Jumbo Eye Pencil underneath. These shadows really won't come off on your eye as they look in the pan without a white base because it gives the shadows a blank canvas to work on.

I created this look using the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil as a base first, I blended that with my finger, then I applied 'Pow!' shadow on top with a fluffy brush to set the base so it didn't crease. I then applied 'Floss' in the crease with a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush as a transition shade. Using 'Sugarlite' I also placed that in the crease using the Real Techniques Bolds Metals Collection 201 brush, I also applied this to the inner corner crease as well to make my eyes appear more round. Make sure to really blend this out, I used the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection 200 brush for this. From there I just kept adding 'Sugarlite' with the same 201 brush until I built up my desired intensity. I put 'Pow!' in the centre of my lid using the Real Techniqes Deluxe Crease brush, only the very centre! I took some more 'Sugarlite' on a MAC 239 brush to defuse the edges of the white, I wanted the white to blend into the purple, but I kept adding 'Pow!' to the centre as I wanted that to be intense. I put MAC 'Phloof!' eyeshadow on top of 'Pow!' using my finger. Under my eye, I used a fluffy brush to put 'Sugarlite' on the lower lash line, I put 'Pow!' on my brow bone and inner corner, put on mascara and thats it.
